Canadians aren't Canadians during the World Cup ... and today they were Italian. Italy beat Germany in the World Cup semifinals today, so I decided to head over to St. Clair West after work to see the impromptu street party that happens there - why, I couldn't tell you - any time a Latino country wins a game in the World Cup. It was joyous and fun, for people of all ages. Horns and whistles assaulted my ears. Almost everyone seemed happy - grinning jubilantly or smiling tolerantly at the celebratory antics of the crowd. It was a great place to be with a camera.
