I lived in Japan (the homeland of Hello Kitty) for a while. I have a photo of me and and a friend standing in front of a huge shop window crammed full from top to bottom and side to side with Hello Kitty dolls.
Hello Kitty is quite the phenomenon in the East, isn't it?
